Design goals

  • Reduce complexity

Create a clearer information hierarchy to reduce cognitive load and make complex financial information easier to process.

  • Design for every screen

Build a fully responsive and accessible web experience that works effectively across screen sizes.

  • Unify web and mobile

Create a consistent product experience across both platforms while preserving mobile-specific interaction patterns.

Impact

Business

A unified product experience across Web and Mobile

The redesign improved two existing product touchpoints while introducing a fully responsive Web experience and preserving platform-specific interaction patterns.

  • Shared UX/UI patterns across platforms
  • Consistent visual language
  • Mobile-specific interaction patterns

User

Clearer access to key financial information

A more structured information hierarchy and preserved context made key financial information easier to access and review.

  • Structured information hierarchy
  • Context preserved during review
  • Key information surfaced in context

Constraints & design decisions

  • Technical limitations

Constraint: Some ideas couldn’t be implemented in their initial form due to existing technical constraints.

My response: Adapted solutions while protecting key user value.

  • Sprint-based delivery / development dependencies

Constraint: The project was delivered in sprints and depended on development capacity and priorities.

My response: Prioritized the work and adapted decisions to what could realistically be delivered.

  • User needs and business requirements

Constraint: The solution needed to serve both user needs and business goals.

My response: Balanced both while keeping the experience clear and usable.

From analysis to direction

I actively contributed to the research and exploration process, reviewing comparable products, studying interaction patterns, and exploring how complex financial information could be structured across web and mobile.

Reviewing
the existing product

Before developing a new solution, I analyzed the existing product to understand where users were experiencing difficulties while working with the dashboard and key data.

Main problems

  • Information overload
  • Weak visual hierarchy
  • Complex navigation
  • Difficulty finding and comparing data

Researching comparable products and patterns

I explored financial, analytics and complex dashboard products to understand different approaches to information hierarchy, navigation, data presentation, workflows and interaction patterns.

Selected products reviewed

  • Google Analytics
  • Tableau
  • Power BI
  • Monday
  • Metrica

Key questions explored

  • How should complex information be prioritized?
  • How can users scan important data faster?
  • How can complex workflows feel easier to complete?
  • How should the hierarchy change between desktop and mobile?

Key patterns that
informed the direction

  • Show key information first

  • Reveal details progressively

  • Keep patterns consistent

  • Adapt hierarchy by device

  • Deeper data exploration
  • Complex navigation and comparison
  • Support for detailed business workflows

Shared product logic

  • Core financial information
  • Clear hierarchy
  • Consistent product logic
Mobile wireframe

Mobile

  • Quick access to key data
  • Limited screen space
  • Shorter, more focused flows

  • High responsibility and cost of errors
  • Decision-making under time pressure

More key workflows

The redesign also simplified more complex workflows, including filtering large datasets and reviewing results while preserving context.

Translating brand into digital

During my work at Isracard, the company went through two brand identity updates developed by external studios. Both were designed primarily for print and required adaptation for digital products.

I extended the color palettes and refined UI components and states to improve readability, accessibility, and consistency across the company's digital products, while preserving the brand identity.

01 Brand direction: original brand colors, Assistant typography, buttons and iconography
02 Updated brand identity: expanded color palette, logo examples and Pangea typography
