Overview

TwentySix is an Israeli B2C fashion e-commerce brand with an online store built on Shopify.

My work combined UX improvements to key shopping interactions with visual concepts and digital materials for the website and marketing communications.

Design goals

  • Identify usability gaps

Audit the existing shopping journey to identify usability issues at key purchase moments.

  • Improve product clarity

Make product details, sizing, availability, and shipping information easier to understand.

  • Simplify shopping actions

Make it easier to manage items in the shopping bag and act on products saved to the wishlist.

Impact

Business

An opportunity to retain purchase intent

The restock notification flow gives the business an opportunity to retain purchase intent when an item is unavailable.

Design value

  • A way to reconnect when a product is unavailable

User

A clearer path to purchase

By making availability, shipping terms, sizing and product details visible at the point of decision, the redesign aims to reduce uncertainty and help users move toward purchase with greater confidence.

Design value

  • Clearer information at key purchase moments

Constraints & design decisions

  • Shopify platform

Constraint: The existing Shopify setup limited which changes could be made without developer involvement.

My response: Designed UX solutions around Shopify’s existing capabilities, accounting for changes requiring developer support.

  • Existing visual language

Constraint: The redesign needed to preserve TwentySix’s established visual identity.

My response: Refined information hierarchy, availability messaging, and shopping interactions without changing the brand’s visual identity.

The Process

Product Analysis

I analyzed the existing shopping experience to identify usability issues across navigation, product information, and key purchase interactions.

Key interface issues

My UX audit identified unclear product information, confusing actions, and limited order feedback at key purchase moments. Three selected examples are shown below.

  • Product page

Original product page fragment: size buttons, add to bag, a red low-stock message and generic accordions (care instructions, size chart)

Product pages reused the same structure across item types, without enough product-specific details to support clear purchase decisions.

  • Shopping bag

Original shopping bag fragment: the same X icon closes the bag and removes the item; small free-shipping progress text; red low-stock message

The shopping bag had unclear hierarchy and confusing item actions. Similar close and remove icons made it harder to understand how to edit the order and confidently continue to checkout.

  • Wishlist

Original wishlist fragment: saved items show only a photo, name and price, with no size selection or add-to-bag action

Users could not choose a size, add to bag, or request restock updates directly from saved items, making it harder to continue toward purchase.

Market & Competitor Research

I researched the market and comparable e-commerce experiences, and gathered initial feedback through a small exploratory questionnaire.

UX Design Solutions

Based on the findings, I designed UX improvements for the product page, shopping bag, and wishlist. I also built an interactive wishlist prototype using Claude and independently checked its interactions.

Business priority

Evaluate the shopping experience

Assess the existing store and identify usability issues.

Making unavailable items actionable

When an item is out of stock, shoppers can request a restock notification by SMS or email without leaving their wishlist.

Restock notification panel opened over the wishlist: SMS or email, phone number field, privacy consent and Send me a notification button
Wishlist after the request: out-of-stock item confirms the restock notification, with an option to cancel it

Vibe coding & interaction checks

Turning the redesigned flow into a testable experience

Using vibe coding with Claude, I built a functional prototype and independently checked key wishlist interactions, edge cases, and flows for both signed-in and guest users.

Interactive prototype

  1. Choose a size and add an item to the bag
  2. Request a back-in-stock notification for a sold-out item

Visual concepts for weekly drops

For each weekly collection drop, I developed a distinct visual concept for the website and social media.

City Edit is one example, combining imagery, color, and typography into a cohesive visual language.

City Edit collection concept: New Drop description, mood and photo direction, seven-color palette, typography (Sora, Montserrat), and examples of use: homepage hero and two social content concepts
